Verbos modais - Habilidade/Capacidade
Modals are auxiliary verbs which are used with a bare infinitive to express the speaker's attitude as well as a degree of certainty or uncertainty. Each modal verb has more than one use. When we want to say that someone has the ability to do something we use can, but as can only has two forms — can for the present and could for the past — be able to supplies the missing parts of can and it is also an alternative form for present and past.
